Tuesday Garden Party February 22, 2011

It has been a cold week here in Northern Coastal California.  I did not do anything outside at all except water once (it rained a bit too).  So I am induling in some looking back at last year’s front yard.    (and I finally found the plugs to download from my other camera so had a bunch of old pics to download)

Begonias!

Hydrangeas!

Geraniums!

Granddaughter Ally, me and grandog, Lola….oops how did that get in there?  Ah yes, gardening…. through the sliding glass door you can see our wine barrel where we grow herbs and the edges of my 40 year old Japanese Maple tree that is just starting to turn.  This picture must have been taken in about August.

Looking foward to spring!!

  1. I can’t bear to look at photos of last year’s flowers–and that was BEFORE our 20 inches of snow. But it’s almost March so spring has to be somewhere close. Doesn’t it?!

Love the flowers and the photo of you and granddaughter. cute~ and as for reading, I’ve done some lately. Right now I have been trying to finish a book that I’ve had for a few years. My friend knows I still have it. I’m only a couple chapters away from finishing it. I read more on the computer than I do in books, which i really like to do.

  4. It’s so nice to see flowers…and grass! Still very much winter here in Boston, but we’re getting close to spring, just a few more months ;). Your flowers look gorgeous! I loooove hydrangeas!
